“Its very exciting to finally be sharing my passion with a region that has provided such inspiration for my work” – Brian Alabaster
Brian Alabaster is widely recognised as one of Britain’s finest figurative sculptors. His spectacular works have earnt him membership to the Royal British Society of Sculptors and he is a highly regarded exhibitor at The RHS Chelsea Flower Show each year. Brian is particularly recognised for his remarkable life-size bronze figure portraits of adults and children, originally modelled by his three sons. He also sculpts objects whereby inspiration is drawn from the countryside, natural rock, fossil formations and ancient classic ceramics.
Although Brian is Suffolk based, his admirable work can be found in both public and private collections internationally. Undertaking all aspects of the production from the modelling of the clay marquette’s, to the casting in molten metal in his own foundry; Brian Alabaster is able to ensure his vision comes to fruition with every small detail accounted for resulting in the most stunning creations.
